Pricing & Estimates
Every pickup is quoted individually so you pay for your job — not an average. Here's what goes into an estimate and how to get an accurate one quickly.
What affects your estimate
These are the factors we look at for every job.
Number of items
A single recliner and a full garage are very different jobs. We look at how many pieces are going.
Volume
How much space the load takes up in the truck is one of the biggest drivers of cost.
Weight
Dense materials such as tile, concrete, and solid-wood furniture take more effort to move and can cost more to dispose of.
Item type
Some items, such as mattresses, appliances, and certain electronics, have their own handling or disposal requirements.
Access difficulty
Narrow hallways, tight doorways, attics, and crawl spaces add time and care.
Carry distance
A long walk from where the item sits to where the truck can park adds labor.
Stairs and elevators
Upper floors, walk-ups, and buildings with elevator reservations affect the time a job takes.
Pickup location
Where you are within our service area and how easy it is to park nearby.
Recycling and disposal requirements
Items that must go to specific recycling or disposal outlets can affect the quote.
Special handling
Disassembly, fragile items, or anything requiring extra protection or equipment.
How to get an accurate estimate fast
- Take a few photos that show the items and how much space they take up.
- List anything heavy or unusual — appliances, exercise machines, copiers, large TVs.
- Describe access: floor level, stairs, elevator, or a long walk to the truck.
- Mention electronics, batteries, or appliances with refrigerant.
Our pricing promises are simple
- You get an estimate before anything is scheduled.
- If the job changes on site, we talk it through with you before loading extra items.
- No made-up "limited time" discounts.
Pricing questions
Why don't you list flat prices?
Two jobs that look similar can be very different in volume, weight, and access. Rather than publish a number that may not fit your situation, we give you an estimate based on what you actually have.
How can I get the most accurate estimate?
Send photos of the items, mention approximate sizes, and tell us about stairs, long carries, or tight spaces. The more we know up front, the closer the estimate will be.
Will the price change on pickup day?
Only if the job is different from what was described — for example, more items or harder access. If that happens, we go over it with you before loading anything extra.
Do electronics cost extra?
Some items have their own handling or disposal requirements, which can affect the estimate. We will tell you about any item-specific considerations before you agree to anything.
